Become a volunteer firefighter today!

No previous firefighting training or experience is required!


   Clarksville Warren Cities Volunteer Fire Department is a member of SFFMA. We provide the necessary training to become a certified firefighter in the State of Texas, NIMS, and CPR. Additional training courses are offered statewide and include EMS, rescue extrication, wildland firefighting, farm rescue, incident command, emergency vehicle operations, pump operations, public education, and more. 

   We are always in need of dedicated volunteer firefighters.  Be a citizen of the U.S. or Resident.

2.  At lease 18 years of age.
3.  Have a high school diploma or G.E.D. 
4.   Valid Texas drivers license.
5.  Gain and maintain a Class B Exempt Texas drivers license upon joining the department. 
6.  Read and write the English language with good verbal skills. 
7.  Have no felony or DWI convictions. 
8.  No more than three moving driving violations in the past five years. 
9.  Good moral character. 
10.  Dependable and trustworthy. 
11.  Good physical condition to perform duties of a firefighter. 
12.  Attend the majority of department trainings, meetings, and emergency responses.
